To all my fans, friends and promoters

I’m sorry for the delay and wish you all a happy new year!!

2003 has been a successful year. A lot has happened during the past few months. There are many great moments and unforgettable impressions. With my World Record I could set a new benchmark for European womens powerlifting and in conclusion of this great year of competition, yesterday evening I was elected Sportswoman of the Year by my surrounding comunities. Something, that really turned me on.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all my fans for their incredible support. You are the best fans in the world! I have enjoyed getting e-mails and letters from many of you from all over the world. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

A very special thank also goes to all the people that keep on supporting and motivating me, first of all my coach and partner Konrad Jäggi, and my main sponsor M Double You, but also to my training partners and assistants, my family and all my friends and collegues who keep on rooting for me.

Of course I will continue trying to produce world-class results this year. I hope still being able to count on your support!

Sportlerin des Jahres 2003

Am Freitag Abend wurde ich von den drei Höfen Heinrichswil, Hersiwil und Winistorf zur Sportlerin des Jahres 2003 gewählt.

Es hat mich besonders gefreut, dass ich neben den vielen erfolgreichen SportlerInnen aus traditionellen Sportarten wie Schiessen, Hornussen, Turnen, Laufen, OL etc. mit meiner Randsportart gewählt wurde.
